Educational, legislative and media mechanisms to protect children from domestic violence from the point of view of experts

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the educational, legislative and media mechanisms that protect the child from domestic violence from the point of view of education experts. Their number is (694), with a percentage of (32%) of the original community, distributed according to the two variables (gender/degree), and the study found that the most important educational mechanisms to reduce domestic violence against children are: Encouraging civil society institutions to establish care and guidance centers Parenting for parents to familiarize them with the rights of children and deepening the culture of dialogue and tolerance among parents towards their children through specialized counseling centers that meet the psychological and emotional needs of the child, and preparing counseling programs to guide young people who are about to get married to educate them about marital life and how to deal with children. To protect children within the family and to strengthen their position in it. Activating laws and legislations related to children who are subjected to violence in all its forms, and guaranteeing their rights. Implementing the Children's Rights Law, and ensuring that their needs are met within the family. Promoting respect for children's rights by strengthening the laws governing this. Enacting laws and provisions to bridge the loopholes that allow children to be exposed to violence in all its forms and to guarantee their rights. The most important media mechanisms to reduce domestic violence against children are: Allocating media channels that help families overcome domestic violence. Dedicating daily advertisements to broadcast awareness messages about marital happiness. Shedding light on domestic violence through family series that discusses the issue of domestic violence towards children. Dedicating entertainment programs in order to cultivate the values ​​of love and brotherhood among children. Promoting a culture of positive interaction among children through modern electronic technological applications that support this. Dedicating educational series that highlight modern educational methods in dealing with children and solving their problems.
