Abstract

Research literature review, as comprehensive summary of previous studies and research on a topic, is a search in scientific articles, books, and sources related to the topic or field of research. Thus, it provides a description, summarization and critical evaluation of the studies and research findings. The aim of reviewing educational and psychological literature is to provide an overview of the sources explored during the process of research. This is through reviewing a specific topic, and explaining to the readers how the current study fits into the research literature. Research literature review is a description of the studies relevant to the field or topic of research to provide an overview of what has been said, and identify the main authors. Also, it identifies the prevailing theories and hypotheses, the questions are being asked and the appropriate and useful methods and methodologies for the research topic.
