Requirements for developing a culture of recreational education mong university students in light of the repercussions of the digital age "future Vision"

Abstract

      study aimed to explore the depths of the issue of the culture of recreation and recreational education and the philosophy behind it, and also aimed at the extent to which university students possess recreational cultural awareness in light of the repercussions of the digital age with all its data, and come up with the most important requirements for developing the culture of recreational education among university students as an imperative necessity in light of the data of the digital age. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, using the questionnaire as a tool to analyze reality through two questionnaires: addressed to students of Tanta University. The questionnaire dealt with several axes as follows: the most important interests and recreational activities practiced by university students in light of the data of the digital age, forms of recreational applications for digital technologies used by students, recreational culture, awareness among university students. The second questionnaire is addressed to some of the faculty members to extrapolate their opinions on the requirements for developing the culture of recreational education among university students. The study reached a number of results, most notably: recreational education - constitutes the absent dimension in the education of contemporary Egyptian man, there is a close relationship between the culture of society and the levels of participation in recreational activities prevailing in this society, also the university is one of the educational institutions that are responsible for developing recreational cultural awareness among its students, Internet The most important sources of recreational culture used by students, and there are several motives for university students to practice recreational activities: learn new skills, entertain and spend leisure time. Hence, the development of recreational cultural awareness is one of the most important requirements for the development of a culture of recreational education among university students.
