The role of secondary school teachers in Irbid Governorate in Enhancing Intellectual Security among the Students

Abstract

     This study aimed to identify the role of secondary school teachers in Irbid governorate in enhancing intellectual security among the students, the study followed the descriptive survey approach, a sample of (120) secondary school teachers was selected. To achieve the objectives of the study, The researcher prepared a questionnaire that consisted of (36) items distributed equally in three areas.  The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample to the domains of intellectual security ranged between (3.42 -3.73/5), and the total arithmetic mean was (3.59) and a medium degree of evaluation. It also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample about the degree of secondary school teachers’ district in enhancing intellectual security among students according to the variable of the subject taught by the teacher (scientific, humanitarian) and in favor of the teachers of humanities, and there were no significant differences Statistically according to the educational qualification variable. In light of these results, the study recommended the following: Strengthening interaction between school administration and parents. And the formation of scientific awareness among students in maintaining the security and stability of the homeland. Putting students with deviant behavior under supervision and guidance.
