Emotional Regulation as a Mediating Variable between Subjective Vitality and Psychological Flourishing for a sample of female students about to graduate

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the impact of the relationship between between subjective vitality and psychological flourishing through emotional regulation among university students, who are about to graduate and to identify the differences between female students in the variables of each of emotional regulation, subjective vitality and psychological flourishing prosperity according to the marital status (married - unmarried),the study relied on the comparative, descriptive approach, the study sample consisted of (240) female one of the students who are about to graduate from King Saud University in Riyadh, divided into (88) married students, and       (152) of the unmarried female students, the emotional regulation scale (prepared by Rizk), the subjective vitality scale (prepared by the researcher), and the psychological flourishing scale (prepared by Qatami) were used. The results of the study concluded that there is a positive and statistically significant effect between subjective vitality and emotional regulation, and the presence of Positive and statistically significant effect when regulating emotion and psychological flourishing and the absence of a statistically significant effect between self-vitality and psychological flourishing. Lei, self-vitality and psychological flourishing according to social status, in the direction of married students.
