A Suggested Program in Islamic Religious Education to Develop the Values of Religious Coexistence, and Social Intelligence Skills for The Students of The Secondary Stage.

Abstract

    The current study aimed at defining the values of religious coexistence and social intelligence skills for the students the first secondary stage, designing a suggested program to develop these values, it used a descriptive and experimental methodology with the semi -experimental design, of one experimental group, and the before and after scales of the tools of the study.  To achieve the aims of the study a list of religious coexistence values was made, a test of religious coexistence attitudes, a list of social intelligence skills, and a scale of social intelligence skills, a proposed program for developing the religious coexistence values and social intelligence skills, and a teacher’s guide to use.       The sample of the study consisted of  (30) male and female of the first the secondary stage students, there was a statistically significant differences at the level (05.0) among the mean degrees  of the before and after performance of the research group on the test of religious coexistence, the aspects of coexistence with brotherhood in religion, coexistence with brothers in the homeland, and coexistence with brotherhood in humanity, and the axes as a whole, for the benefit of the students in the after application. There are statistically significant differences at the level (05.0) among the mean degrees the before and after performance of the research group on the scale of social intelligence, social appreciation, social competence, and the axes as a whole, for the sake of the students in the after application.
