Improving the scientific productivity of faculty members in the faculties of education Al-Azhar University in the light of human resource management practices.

Abstract

The study aimed at revealing the reality of human resources management practices for teaching staff in the faculties of education, Al-Azhar University, and to offer a suggested proposal to improve the scientific productivity for teaching staff in the faculties of education, Al-Azhar University according to human resources management practices. The study used the descriptive method, it also used a questionnaire as a tool to collect data, it was applied on a sample of teaching staff in the faculties of education, Al-Azhar University, consisting of (135) members. The study results showed that the reality of teaching staff’s human resources management practices is (medium), There is difference in the availability degree  of human resources management dimensions for teaching staff in the faculties of education at Al-Azhar University, where the job analysis and description dimension came in the first place with the degree of availability (large), followed by the planning dimension in the second place with the degree of availability (medium), followed by the rewards dimension in the third place with the degree of availability (medium), followed by the training dimension in the fourth place with a degree of availability (medium), while the employment dimension came in the fifth place with a degree of availability (weak), while the performance assessment dimension came in the last place with a degree of availability (weak),  A suggested proposal was offered to improve the scientific productivity of teaching staff in the faculties of education, Al-Azhar University according to human resources management practices.
