Improving the scientific productivity of faculty members in the faculties of education, Al-Azhar University in light of the challenges of the knowledge society (A suggested strategy)

Abstract

Today, society faces many challenges and changes, now and in the future. These challenges vary between challenges that are already present and challenges that are expected to occur, as they are still gathering in the way of formation and crystallization, and there are challenges that have already taken shape, which requires the need to pay attention to education in general and university in particular, and work to develop it because of its great importance. It is pivotal in improving the economies of countries and competitiveness at the international level. Therefore, an active role should be played in supporting scientific research and improving the scientific productivity of faculty members in the faculties of education in light of these contemporary challenges. The current research aims to develop a proposed strategy to improve the scientific productivity of faculty members in the faculties of education, Al-AzharUniversity in light of the challenges of the knowledge society. The analytical descriptive approach was used to achieve this goal by analyzing previous studies and theoretical literature related to the subject of the study. Academic staff members at Al-Azhar University, and as a complement to the research, the concept of the knowledge society, its features, the problems and challenges it faces, was presented.
