The level of dysfunctional family boundaries and emotional cutting among the women in debt in Irbid governorate

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of dysfunctional family boundaries and emotional cutoff for women in debt in Irbid governorate, the study sample consisted of (204) women in debt, and to achieve the objectives of the study, two scales were developed: the dysfunctional family boundaries scale, emotional cutoff, and their psychometric properties were verified. The results indicated that the average dysfunctional family border was moderate, and the emotional cut-off average was low. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of family boundaries due to the age variable and in favor of the group (31-41) years and the variable of educational qualification and in favor of the diploma holders and the presence of significant differences Statistically in the two dimensions of dysfunctional family boundaries and in favor of a group that does not work, as well as the presence of differences in the level of emotional cutting due to the variable of age and in favor of the group (30 years and less). The results did not show any differences for the rest of the variables. The study recommended the implementation of preventive and curative programs that provide preventive and curative psychological services Which would connect the emotional pieces between the infatuated ladies.
