Activate the Principles of Good Governance in Egyptian University Education Institutions in the light of Visual Management

Abstract

There are many local and global challenges facing institutions in different areas of life, so many institutions around the world have been interested in applying good governance as an organizational framework that emphasizes the proper functioning of the work within the institution according to the modern methods and practices to meet the various challenges, and the application of the principles of good governance in university education institutions may contribute to creating a good organizational climate that supports integrity, impartiality and a good distribution of tasks and responsibilities, and others. In order to activate them, the university education institutions management needs to use one of the modern administrative patterns that support these principles and strive to achieve them, it is (visual management), which depends on managing daily events in the place and time of their occurrence. The study aimed to the following:
1- Identify the theoretical foundations of good governance in university education institutions.
2- Analyze the principles of good governance in university education institutions.
3- Define the conceptual framework of visual management in university education institutions.
4- Determine the most important methods used in achieving visual management in university education institutions.
5- Present proposed procedural mechanisms to activate the principles of good governance in Egyptian university education institutions in the light of visual management.
    The descriptive method was used in the study, the important results of the study is to present proposed procedural mechanisms to activate the principles of good governance (transparency - accountability - justice - participation) in Egyptian university education institutions in the light of visual management.
