Abstract

The study aimed to identify the administrative problems facing the principals of government kindergartens in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers designed a questionnaire consisting of (46) phrases distributed on (8) axes, and the tool was applied to (66) principals in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt.. The researchers used the comparative survey method. The study reached results, the most important of which are the following: The higher percentage of administrative problems related to the management of kindergartens in the Kingdom than in Egypt, and the two samples agreed that there are no clear guiding rules for the aspects of financial disbursement. And the limited awareness of some educational supervisors of the role and nature of kindergartens. The study also showed a higher awareness of kindergarten teachers in the Kingdom than in Egypt, and the two samples agreed on the weak communication between parents of children and kindergartens in both countries. The study recommended, among other things, the importance of preparing human cadres specialized in managing kindergartens, in addition to the importance of preparing kindergarten buildings in line with the requirements of this stage and the educational needs of children.
