Abstract

This study aimed: to reveal the reasons for the increasing repetition rates of specific students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, in memorizing the Holy Qur’an course from the point of view of specialists and students. Therefore, a questionnaire to determine the reasons for the increase in the repetition rates of these students, and another questionnaire to identify the proposals to treat the increase in those reasons, as they were applied to a deliberate sample of specialists in Islamic studies in the college, and specialists in curricula and methods of teaching Islamic and Arabic studies, their number reached: (35) faculty member The number of students was: (133).  The application was carried out electronically using Google Forms, and one of the most prominent results that was reached: The responses of the sample of specialists to all areas of the identification of the reasons for the increase of those reasons in the memorization of the course of the Holy Qur’an as a whole, were to some extent agreeable, while their responses came to all areas of the questionnaire The treatment proposals for the increase of those reasons with a high degree of approval, and the responses of the sample of students to all areas of identifying the reasons for the increase in the failure rates in memorizing the Holy Qur’an course, with a high degree of approval, and their responses to the identification of treatment proposals for the increase in the reasons for the failure rates with a very large degree of approval, and the absence of differences Statistically significant at the significance level of 5 and 0 or less, between the average grades of the specific people’s students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University, about the reasons for the increase in the repetition rates in the course of memorizing the Holy Qur’an according to the different study group, and there were no statistically significant differences between their responses to the proposals for the treatment of those reasons. According to the study group. Among its most important recommendations: the necessity of working to eliminate the reasons for the increasing repetition rates of the people’s specific students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, in memorizing the Holy Qur’an course, which are contained in the fields of the questionnaire that include this; By adopting the proposals to treat the increasing repetition rates of the people’s quality students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, in memorizing the Holy Qur’an course, which is contained in the questionnaire that includes this.
