A proposed vision for improving institutional performance in the faculties of education, Kafrelsheikh University in the light of the dimensions of the McKinsey 7-S model from the point of view of the faculty members

Abstract

The current research aims to improve institutional performance in faculties of education. Institutional performance includes several main axes, the most important of which are organizational structures, internal processes and human resources. This improvement also requires that there be a conceptual framework that includes several elements such as management, strategy and a balanced approach, and this framework is also required to be flexible. According to a predetermined model. The McKinsey 7S model is a managerial approach in the light of which organizational performance can be improved and upgraded, and maintain compatibility between its seven main dimensions, namely; Strategy, organizational structure, work systems, common values of employees, prevailing management style, work teams, skills of employees. The current research uses the descriptive approach, whose steps in this research are based on defining the research problem, collecting data and information, selecting a field study sample, choosing methods of data collection and preparation, providing selected objective observations in an organized and distinct manner in a precise manner, describing the results, analyzing and interpreting them in clear and specific terms. In an attempt to derive meaningful generalizations that add to knowledge and contribute to building a proposed scenario that achieves the objectives of the research. Proceeding from the literature of research and previous studies and their results, and based on the results of the current theoretical and field research, and in order to achieve the objectives of the research, the research presented a suggested perspective that could contribute to improving institutional performance in faculties of education in particular and in institutions of university education in general.
