Abstract

This paper aims to study the availability of basic and standard elements in the design of websites on the Taibah University website from the viewpoint of the website's visitors. The  the study sample consisted of (102) users of the website. To collect the information, the researcher developed a questionnaire of (5) main sectors divided into six basic and standard elements: ease of access to the website, ease of navigation, quality of design, quality of text and quality of content. Means and standard deviations were used to answer the study questions. Also, credibility and reliability tests were conducted, which indicated the degree of availability of reliability and validity criteria to a large extent. The results of the study also indicated that there were statistically significant differences on the sailing quality variable, and the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences on the design quality variable.
