Abstract

The current research aims to reveal the impact of the diversity of the two styles of parallel text presentation (synchronous - separate) of educational digital videos in the environment of augmented reality technology for the purpose of: developing scientific concepts, visual perception, and reducing the cognitive burden of second-grade students. Experimental with two groups, and the research included one independent variable, which is “parallel text for digital videos” and it has two levels: “parallel text for digital videos (synchronous - separate) in augmented reality technology environment.” The research included three dependent variables, namely: “Scientific concepts” The research sample consisted of (40) students from the second preparatory grade at Ghamra Preparatory School for Boys affiliated to Al-Waili Educational Administration, during the second semester of the year 2021/2022 AD, and the results related to scientific concepts, visual perception, The cognitive load reduced the effectiveness of the separate parallel text display method, compared to the synchronous parallel text display method.
