Requirements of Applying Strategic Management at Faculties of Education, Al-Azhar University (Field Study)

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the degree of availability of the requirements for applying strategic management at faculties of education, Al-AzharUniversity from their teaching staff members and administrative staff's points of view  to set mechanisms  needed.  To achieve this, the research used the descriptive method as well as a questionnaire headed for  (143) teaching staff members in those faculties and (136) administrative staff members, The research showed that the requirements for applying  strategic management at those faculties are available at a (medium) degree with a weighted average (1.77). The organizational culture axis came first in terms of availability with  a weighted average (1.84) & medium availability, then the organizational structure axis with a weighted average (1.79) &  medium availability, the human resources axis came third with a weighted average (1.76) with a medium availability, the financial resources axis came fourth with a weighted average (1.74) & medium availability, Information and communications systems axis came last with a weighted average (1.71) & a medium availability and in light of those results, The research presented  a set of mechanisms to provide these requirements.
