The Status-quo of Job Performance of Educational Leaders in the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Light of the to the Dimensions of the Balanced Performance Model

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the status-quo of educational leaders’ performance in the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in light of the dimensions of the balanced performance model. To achieve such a goal, the descriptive approach was used in its survey form, and a questionnaire was used in collecting data. The study was administered to a sample consisting of (432) educational leaders in the general administration of educational supervision in the Ministry of Education, in addition to educational leaders in educational supervision departments in the general administrations of education in the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was revealed that the dimensions of internal operations management was at a medium degree of availability. Furthermore, the status-quo of the educational leaders’ performance with regard to the internal operations management dimension was at a medium degree of availability, and the status-quo of educational leaders’ performance with regard to the financial management dimension was at a medium availability.
