The level of psychological flexibility and its relationship to social responsibility among mothers of primary school students in Madinah

Abstract

  The study aimed to identify the level of psychological resilience and its relationship to social responsibility among mothers of primary school students in Madinah in light of some demographic variables in light of distance education as a result of the spread of the Corona virus, on a sample of (226). To achieve the objectives of the study, two valid and reliable scales were developed. The results indicated that the level of both: psychological resilience and social responsibility was high, and that there was a positive and statistically significant relationship between psychological resilience and social responsibility, and the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological resilience and social responsibility due to the demographic variables: Scientific qualification For the mother, the mother's work, the economic level, and the number of children at the primary level. The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: The necessity of training and preparing mothers for some distance education activities, especially with regard to follow-up on the achievements of children in the educational stages, especially in the primary stage, in light of disasters and crises, And conducting more studies on the impact of the spread of epidemics on the role of mothers in family upbringing, work, social relations and others.
