The Relationship between the Level of Subjective Well-Being and Withdrawal Behavior among Female Students with Learning Disabilities

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the level of Subjective Well-Being and its relationship to withdrawal behavior of female students with learning Disabilities the Karak region. The sample of the current study consisted of (100) female students with learning Disabilities, within grades: the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, to achieve the purposes of the study, two scales were developed with good validity and reliability which are: subjective well-being and withdrawal behavior. The results indicated that the level of subjective well-being was low, while the level of withdrawal behavior was high, And that there was a statistically significant and inverse relationship between the level of subjective well-being and withdrawn behavior. The research reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which was: The need to build counseling programs for groups of students with learning disabilities. To help them raise the level of psychological well-being and reduce the level of withdrawal behavior, and the necessity of strategic planning to improve services directed at students with learning disabilities to reduce withdrawal behavior. The research also recommended conducting more studies that deal with other variables for this category such as: perceived self-efficacy, social skills, self-management, and psychological resilience.
