Psychological Stress Associated with The Spread of The Corona Epidemic and Its Relationship to The Motivation for Distance Learning Among Shaqra University Students

Abstract

The study aimed to address the psychological stress associated with the spread of the Corona epidemic and its relationship to the motivation for distance learning among ShaqraUniversity students. The research tools were the distance learning motivation scale and the psychological stress scale, and the research sample consisted of 240 students from ShaqraUniversity, and the research reached the following results: The level of motivation towards distance learning among ShaqraUniversity students ranges between medium and high. There is an average level of psychological stress among ShaqraUniversity students. There are no differences in the motivation for distance learning among ShaqraUniversity students due to the type of college (scientific-administrative). There are no differences in motivation for distance learning among ShaqraUniversity students due to their academic level (first through eighth). There are differences in psychological stress among ShaqraUniversity students due to the type of college (scientific-administrative). There are no differences in psychological stress among university students. Shaqra is attributed to the academic level (first-eighth). There is a correlation between motivation for distance learning and psychological stress among ShaqraUniversity students. The distance learning motivation among ShaqraUniversity students can be predicted through the dimensions of psychological stress.
