واقع الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمات اللغة الإنجليزية في تعليم مهارة الکتابة في المرحلة الثانوية في منطقة القصيم "دراسة حالة" The Teaching Practices Status-quo of English Language Teachers in Teaching Writing Skill at the Secondary Level in Qassim Region (Case Study)

هدفت هذه الدراسة للکشف عن ممارسات معلمات اللغة الإنجليزية في تدريس مهارة الکتابة في المرحلة الثانوية في منطقة القصيم کما أنها تسعى من خلال أسئلتها للتحقق من اتجاهات المعلمات حول تدريس مهارة الکتابة والصعوبات التي تواجههن. واعتمدت الدراسة على استخدام منهجية البحث النوعية – دراسة الحالة – باستخدام أدوات متعددة کالمقابلة المکتوبة والفردية الشفوية والجماعية والملاحظة والوثائق والمصادر. وقد تم تطبيق هذه الدراسة على (3) معلمات سعوديات- متنوعات الخبرة التدريسية ولم يشارکن في دورات تطويرية متخصصة بمهارة الکتابة- في الثانوية الأولى بعنيزة بمنطقة القصيم. توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى لدى المعلمات معتقدات وتصورات سابقة عن مهارة الکتابة بحد ذاتها ومهارة الکتابة لدى طالباتهن أدت إلى اختلاف ممارستهن في تدريس مهارة الکتابة. کما توصلت إلى أن الخبرة التدريسية وتجاربهن الشخصية السابقة في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية أدت إلى التأثير على التغذية الراجعة التي يقدمنها لطالباتهن. کما أن الاتجاه الإيجابي نحو مهنة التدريس قادهن للبحث عن طرق أکثر إبداعاً في تدريس مهارة الکتابة. کما توصلت الدراسة أن المعلمات يعانين من عدم اتساق مواضيع الکتابة المقررة مع المرحلة الثانوية مما يضطرهن للتوسع والإثراء. کما أکدن المعلمات على وجود خلل في النسق البنائي المعرفي لدى بعض طالبات المرحلة الثانوية في مهارة الکتابة – کأحد الصعوبات التي يوجهنها.
The current study aimed to reveal the practices of female English teachers in teaching writing skill at the secondary stage in Qassim region. Moreover, the study also sought to verify the attitudes of teachers concerning teaching writing skills and the difficulties encountered. The study used the qualitative approach - case study - employing diverse tools such as written, individual, oral, group interviews; observation; documents; and sources. The study was administered to three Saudi female teachers who have various teaching experiences and did not participate in specialized development courses in writing skill of the first secondary school in Unaizah, Al-Qassim Region. The results of the study revealed that the teachers had previous beliefs and perceptions about the writing skill itself and the writing skills of their students led to differences in their practices of teaching writing skills. Furthermore, the teaching experiences and their previous personal experiences in teaching English impacted the feedback they provide to their students. The positive attitudes towards the teaching profession led them to search for more creative ways of teaching writing skills. The study also found that the female teachers suffer from inconsistency of writing subjects at the secondary level forcing them to expand and enrich the content defined. The teachers also confirmed the existence of a defect in the cognitive structure of some high school students in the writing skill - as one of the difficulties faced.
