Evaluating organizational communication in social work education institutions

Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate organizational communication with social work education institutions by attempting to identify; The level of efficiency of formal organizational communication in achieving goals; The level of efficiency of informal organizational communication in achieving cohesion among members; And the level of efficiency of organizational communication in exchanging information between members, The importance of the study lies in shedding light on organizational communication because of its connection to the quality of means and contents of messages in educational institutions, The study belongs to the style of evaluative studies and used a combination of case study and social survey methodologies in a comprehensive inventory method, Then, the field study relied on a questionnaire applied to faculty members and their assistants in the Department of Social Service and Community Development at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University in Cairo, The general results of the field study confirmed the existence of a clear discrepancy in the levels of efficiency of organizational communication in social work education institutions, It proved the average level of efficiency of formal organizational communication in achieving goals, the average level of efficiency of informal organizational communication in achieving cohesion among members, and the average level of efficiency of organizational communication in exchanging information among members, Therefore, the study recommends a proposed scenario through which it may be possible to achieve a high level of efficiency in formal and informal organizational communications in exchanging information in social work education institutions by trying to find a communication coordinator, And trying to work on creating a system that explains the transparency of communication and its history, And trying to find standards that take into account the workflow according to specific specialization, seniority, and experience. And trying to take into account circulation and diversity in assigning activities.
