Some Obstacles to Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Al-Azhar Primary Institutes in Fayoum Governorate and Ways to Overcome them (A Field Study)

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify some Obstacles to accreditation and quality assurance of Al-Azhar primary institutes in Fayoum Governorate through the standards set by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority.
The research used the descriptive method. The research used the questionnaire as a research tool appropriate to its nature, and to identify the reality of the obstacles to accreditation and ensuring the quality of Al-Azhar primary institutes in Fayoum Governorate from the point of view of the research sample. The tool was applied to (319) members (mentor - institute sheikh - agents and teachers of Al-Azhar primary education in Fayoum), where the average reached ( 2.91), the level of agreement on availability in reality (OK); It is a level that means that availability on the ground is great, and considering the dimensions of this axis we find the following: the first became the fourth: the technological obstacle, it was average (2.93), and the level of approval (Agree), and the second place came the educational proposals, it was average. (2.92), and the material proposals came in third place, it was average (2.90), while the last came first: the administrative obstructionist; It was average of (2.89) and an approval level of (OK). The researcher came up with a set of basic requirements that help implement accreditation and quality assurance in Al-Azhar primary institutes in Fayoum Governorate and overcome the obstacles to accreditation, which are administrative, material, educational, and technological obstacles.
