هدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف علىدور القادة الأکاديميين في تطوير جامعة شقراء في المملکة العربية السعودية في ضوء رؤية المملکة 2030 من وجهة نظرهم ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بتطوير استبانه تضمنت خمس مجالات (الأنشطة والبرامج المرفقة للتعليم، التخطيط الاستراتيجي، التمکين المهني، القيادة الإدارية الفاعلة، العلاقات الانسانية). وبعد التحقق من ثباتها وصدقها، تم تطبيقها على عينة قوامها (128) قائدا في جامعة شقراء، وبعد جمع البيانات والمعلومات تم تحليلها باستخدام نظام (SPSS). وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن المتوسطات الحسابية لإجابات افراد عينة الدراسة عن مجالات الدراسة جاءت بدرجة متوسطة اعلاها مجال العلاقات الانسانية بمتوسط حسابي (3.83) وفي المرتبة الثانية مجال الانشطة والبرامج المرفقة للتعليم بمتوسط حسابي (3.58) ثم مجال التمکين المهني (3.56) ثم مجال القيادة الادارية الفاعلة بمتوسط حسابي ( 3.00) وفي المرتبة الاخيرة مجال التخطيط الاستراتيجي بمتوسط حسابي (2.98), کما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) لتقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة على دور القادة الاکاديميين تبعا لمتغيرات الدراسة.وقد تضمنت الدراسة عدة توصيات منها، اعطاء القادة الأکاديميين مزيدا من الصلاحيات التي من شأنها زيادة دورهم في تطوير مؤسسات التعليم العالي في المملکة العربية السعودية.
This study aims to identify the role of academic leaders in developing higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This goal is in light of the Kingdom's vision 2030 from their point of view. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire that included five fields of activities and programs attached to education, strategic planning, professional empowerment, effective administrative leadership, and human relationships. After verifying its reliability and validity, it was applied to a sample consisting of (128) a leader at Shaqra University, and after collecting data and information it was analyzed using the SPSS system. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample individuals on the fields of study came with an average degree above the field of human relations with an arithmetic average (3.83). In the second place, there is the field of activities and programs attached to education with an arithmetic average (3.58) then the field of professional empowerment (3.56), and then the field of effective administrative leadership with an arithmetic average (3.00). In the last place, there is the field of strategic planning with an arithmetic average (µ = 0.05). The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05 = a) for the estimates of the members of the study sample on the role of academic leaders according to the study variables. The study included several recommendations, including giving academic leaders more powers that would increase their role in developing higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
