المستخلص

تهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع معايير الترقية في الجامعات السعودية، کما تهدف إلى التعرف على بعض التجارب العربية والعالمية في مجال ترقية أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وتحديد المجالات المقترحة لتطوير معايير ترقية أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات السعودية، في ضوء التجارب العربية والعالمية، وتکون مجتمع الدراسة من أعضاء المجلس العلمي بجامعة الملک سعود، وجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية والجامعة السعودية الإلکترونية، وعددهم 75 عضوا ، واستجاب منهم 57 عضوا، واستخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي والاستبانة أداة للدراسة، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية: أن أفراد الدراسة يوافقون على مجالات معايير ترقية أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات السعودية، وهي مرتبة تنازليًّا، حسب المتوسط الحسابي، کما يأتي: التدريس والتعليم 30%. الخدمات التعليمية والمجتمعية 20%. البحوث والدراسات العلمية 50%. بلغ المتوسط الحسابي العام للمجال الأول التدريس والتعليم (3.87) بدرجة (موافق)، وعلى مستوى المحاور فقد جاءت الموافقة عليها جميعًا بدرجة (موافق).  بلغ المتوسط الحسابي العام للمجال الثاني الأنشطة البحثية والعلمية بدرجة (3.96) بدرجة (موافق)، وعلى مستوى المحاور فقد جاءت الموافقة عليها جميعًا بدرجة (موافق).  بلغ المتوسط الحسابي العام للمجال الثالث خدمة المجتمع بدرجة (3.76) وبدرجة (موافق)، وعلى مستوى المحاور فقد جاءت الموافقة عليها جميعًا بدرجة (موافق).
The study aims to identify the current  standards of faculty tenure promotion in Saudi universities, as well as to identify some Arab and international experiences in the field of faculty tenure  promotion, and to identify proposed areas for improving standards for faculty members tenure promotion in Saudi universities in the light of Arab and international experiences. The study sample is made up of faculty members of public universities in the Kingdom of   Saudi Arabia.  The study sample was made of 57 faculty members. The two researchers used descriptive approach for data analysis and survey questionnaire as a tool fo the study. Following the conclusion of the data analysis  The study reached the following results: The study sample agree on the standards for tenure  promotion in place at Saudi universities, with a mean average as follows: • Teaching and learning role 30%. • Service and community participation role 20%. • Research and scholarly publications 50%. • The average mean for the first field of teaching and learning was (3.87) with a scale of (agree). • The average mean for the second standard service and community participation was (3.96) with a scale of (agree). • The average mean for the third field of research and scholarly publications was (3.76) and with a scale (agree).
