هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة أثر استخدام التعلم النقال عبر الهواتف الذکية في تنمية مهارات الحاسب واستخدام بعض وسائل التواصل الالکتروني لدى طلاب السنة التأسيسية بجامعة شقراء، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم بناء الأدوات التالية: اختبار تحصيلي لقياس الجوانب المعرفية المرتبطة بمهارات الحاسب، بطاقة ملاحظة لتقويم الأداء المهاري للطلاب، مقياس التواصل الالکتروني. وقد استخدمت الدراسة الحالية استخدام المنهج شبه التجريبي على عينة مکونة من (55) طالباً تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: مجموعة ضابطة قوامها (27) طالباً درست مهارات الحاسب بالطريقة التقليدية، ومجموعة تجريبية قوامها (28) طالباً درست نفس المهارات باستخدام التعلم النقال. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (α≥ 0.05) بين متوسط درجات المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في تنمية الجوانب المعرفية المرتبطة بمهارات الحاسب، وأيضاً في تنمية استخدام وسائل التواصل الالکتروني لدى طلاب السنة التأسيسية بجامعة شقراء. وأخيراً أوصت الدراسة بضرورة التوسع في استخدام التعلم النقال في عمليتي التعليم والتعلم وإقامة دورات تدريبية على کيفية تفعيل هذا الاستخدام لأعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب.
The aim of the current study was to identify the impact of using mobile learning through smart phones in developing computer skills and using some electronic communication tools among 1st grade founding year students at Shaqra University. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared the following tools: an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects related to computer skills, an observation card to evaluate students' skill performance and an electronic communication scale. The researcher utilized the semi-experimental research methodology to a sample consisted of (55) students who were divided into two groups: a control group of (27) students who were taught the curriculum traditionally, and an experimental group of (28) students who were taught the same curriculum using the mobile learning. Results revealed the effectiveness of the mobile learning in developing computer skills and using some electronic communication tools among 1st grade founding year students. In addition, the research recommended using the mobile learning in teaching.
