المستخلص

هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات العاديين نحو المعاقين فکريــــــًا في ضوء بعض المتغيرات الديموغرافية. وتکونت عينة الدراسة من (150) من الراشدين العاملين بمختلف القطاعات. ولجمع البيانات، قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس اتجاهات العاديين نحو المعاقين فکريـــــًا. وأشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الاتجاهات نحو المعاقين فکريــــًا تعزى إلى عامل النوع (لصالح الإناث)، ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية – إلى حد ما تعزو إلى المستوى التعليمي (مرتفع – متوسط - منخفض). علاوة على عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في ضوء نوع العمل (حکومي – غير حکومي) وکذلک المستوى الاقتصادي (مرتفع - منخفض).
This study aimed at investigating normal people's attitudes towards the intellectually disabled in light of some demographic variables. The sample comprised of (150) adults working in different sectors. To collect data, the researcher designed Normal persons' attitudes towards the intellectually disabled. Results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the attitudes towards the intellectually disabled attributed to gender (in favor of the females). There were statistically significant differences - to some extent - in this regard in terms of level of education (low – moderate - high). There were no statistically significant differences in this regard in terms of type of work (governmental – non-governmental), or economic level (low - high).
