هدفت الدراسة بشکل رئيس إلى التعرف على التوزيع المکاني والزماني للجرائم في دولة الکويت، ومعرفة اتجاهاتها خلال الفترة (2009-2018م)، ووضع خرائط تبين التوزيع المکاني للجرائم وأماکن ترکزها وعلاقتها بأعداد السکان في محافظات دولة الکويت. استخدمت الدراسة لتحقيق أهدافها المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحديد اتجاهات الجريمة المکانية والزمانية في دولة الکويت خلال الفترة خلال الفترة (2009-2018م)، واستخدمت الدراسة الأساليب الإحصائية والکارتوجرافية لتوقيع وتمثيل بيانات الجريمة وأماکن ترکزها في محافظات دولة الکويت، واستخدام تحليل الانحدار الخطي لتحديد الاتجاه العام لتطور أعداد الجريمة، واستخدام اختبار کاي تربيع ( 2c) للکشف عن الفروق الإحصائية في التويع المکاني للجريمة في دولة الکويت وفقا للمحافظات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود اتجاه عام لتناقص أعداد الجرائم في دولة الکويت خلال الفترة (2009-2018م)، وقد تبين من اختبار الدلالة الاحصائية لقيمة معامل الارتباط معنوية العلاقة عند مستوى الدلالة الاحصائية (0×05)، حيث انخفضت أعداد الجرائم تدريجياً في مختلف محافظات دولة الکويت، وأوضحت الدراسة من خلال نتائج التوزيع المکاني للجرائم في المحافظات حسب أعداد السکان باستخدام اختبار مربع کاي ( 2c) وجود تباين کبير في توزيع الجرائم الجنائية بين المحافظات، حيث اتسم بالترکز الشديد في محافظتي حولي والجهراء، فقد أظهرت النتائج أن المتوسط العام لأعداد الجرائم في دولة الکويت حسب عدد السکان خلال الفترة (2009 – 2018) قد بلغت نحو ( 32.78 جريمة : 25000 نسمة)، وأن محافظة حولي قد حققت الترتيب الأول من حيث عدد الجرائم بالنسبة لعدد السکان وبنسبة (60.03 جريمة : 25000 نسمة)، وفي الترتيب الثاني محافظة الجهراء وبنسبة (48.77 جريمة: 25000 نسمة)
The main aim of the current study was to illustrate the spatial and temporal distribution of crimes in the State of Kuwait, to identify the main trends during the period (2009-2018), and to develop maps showing the spatial distribution of crimes and their correlation to population numbers in the governorates of the State of Kuwait. The study made use of the descriptive analytical method to determine the trends of spatial and temporal crime in the State of Kuwait during the period (2009-2018). The study made use of the statistical and cartographic methods to illustrate and represent crime data and places in the governorates of Kuwait. The linear regression analysis was adopted for determining the general trend of the evolution of numbers of crimes. The study also used the Quai-squared test to detect the statistical differences in the spatial distribution of crime in the State of Kuwait according to the governorates. The results of the study showed a general trend of decreasing crime numbers in the State of Kuwait during the period (2009-2018). The number of crimes gradually decreased in various governorates in the State of Kuwait taking into account the spatial distribution of crimes in the governorates and the population number. There was a large variation in the distribution of the criminal crimes in the governorates, where crimes were very high in the governorates of Hawalli and Al-Jahra. The results showed that the general mean of the numbers Crimes in Kuwait according to the population during the period (2009 - 2018) reached (32.78) crimes (25,000 individual). The Governorate of Hawalli has achieved the first rank in terms of the number of crimes in relation to the population with a percentage of (60.03) crimes (25,000 individual), and in the second place came the province of Jahra at a rate of (48.77) crimes (25,00 individual).
