The global challenges facing humanity vary and one of the strongest of these is the fourth industrial revolution, which imposes radical changes to adapt to it. One of the most important of these changes is to focus on the development of universities that need to make correct decisions to enhance the skills of the future, so the research aims to identify the conceptual framework of the fourth industrial revolution. The most important features of the universities 4.0, the requirements for the transformation of contemporary universities into universities 4.0 and to that end, research followed the descriptive approach and reached the conceived proposal for moving Egyptian universities to universities 4.0 to adapt to the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.
