The study aimed to identify the most important necessary job competencies for the sheikhs of secondary institutes of Azhar through a philosophical framework that reflects the importance of job competencies and the requirements of digital transformation in addition to revealing the relationship between job competencies and digital transformation. And revealing the reality of selecting and employing the sheikhs of the institutes through the organizing laws and regulations.the study focused on the following competences: Competences in the use of modern technology, personal competence, creativity and innovation, and human competences. The study concluded that the response rate on the aspects of the questionnaire was large, which confirms the importance of the job competencies of the sheikhs of Al-Azhar secondary institutes.
