The current study aimed to identify the digital citizenship skills necessary to prepare the social studies teacher in light of technological transformation, and the study population consisted of students of social studies teachers at the Faculty of Education in Cairo, Al-Azhar University, The current study answers the question of what digital citizenship skills are necessary to prepare a social studies teacher in light of technological transformation, and the question of what is the availability of citizenship skills among student teachers in the third year of basic education specializing in social studies, and the study used the descriptive approach in order to collect data and information on digital citizenship skills, and technological transformation in the development of teacher preparation programs, and a list of digital citizenship skills was prepared in light of the technological transformation necessary to prepare a teacher of social studies, It consisted of three main skills: (respect, education, protection), which were derived from the nine dimensions of digital citizenship, and each skill included three dimensions, and in the light of which the digital citizenship scale was built and the standard characteristics of the questionnaire were verified from the apparent honesty and stability using internal consistency Alpha Cronbach, The study reached a proposed conception of the digital citizenship skills necessary to prepare the social studies teacher, and the weak availability of digital citizenship skills among student teachers in the third year of basic education specializing in social studies, and the study recommends enhancing these skills and including them in the teaching methods course as well as the computer course in education in the social studies teacher preparation program to meet the requirements of technological transformation.
