Abstract

The research aimed to identify the positive effects of artificial intelligence on university education, determine the requirements for employing artificial intelligence applications in universities, and also identify the role of artificial intelligence in improving the performance of Egyptian universities and meeting the requirements of digital transformation in them. To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive approach was used, and a questionnaire was designed. Directed to faculty members in Egyptian universities, it was applied to a sample of (402) members. The results showed that the degree of positive effects of artificial intelligence on university education was (big). The study also indicated that there are requirements for employing artificial intelligence applications in universities, the most important of which are: holding conferences that contributes to spreading the culture of artificial intelligence, providing experts and technicians to maintain and address network and programming malfunctions, amending university laws to allow the application of artificial intelligence, providing an adequate budget to acquire the required computers and software. The study also confirmed that artificial intelligence has a role in improving the performance of Egyptian universities and meeting the requirements of transformation. Digital has.
