Abstract

The current research aimed to analyze the philosophical frameworks related to the concept of "shadow teacher" to extract and root the dimensions that can contribute to it as one of the educational entrances supporting the rehabilitation of the capabilities of people with special needs "people with disabilities who can be integrated" in a way that enables them to respond and adapt to the changes of the times, and to achieve this, the descriptive analytical approach was used to identify the concepts and dimensions of the shadow teacher philosophy in the specialized literature, and the most prominent results reached: At its core, the shadow teacher's philosophy is based on the principles of inclusivity, uniqueness and empowerment. There are urgent considerations that reinforce the need to expand the adoption of the philosophy of the "shadow teacher" at the official level, most notably: (Expanding the adoption of the concept of comprehensive schools based on the integration strategy to achieve the principle of equal opportunities, and to ensure a fair and comprehensive absorption policy. The applied merit of this supporting formula, which was revealed by previous studies, there is a semi-consensus among the results of previous studies on the feasibility and effectiveness of the "shadow teacher" strategy). Expanding the philosophy of the "shadow teacher" is one of the educational approaches that support the rehabilitation of the capabilities of people with special needs who are "integrative" to a changing world, in aspects related to "independence, motor, linguistic, academic, professional, social, technological and safety skills".
