The Educational Requirements Necessary to Develop the Performance of Sharia Science Teachers in The Digital Age and The Mechanisms for Activating Them from The Perspective of Islamic Education “A Field Study”

Abstract

The goal of the research is to determine the educational requirements necessary to develop the performance of Sharia science teachers in the digital age and the mechanisms for activating them from the perspective of Islamic education. To achieve this goal, the descriptive approach was used, and the questionnaire was used to collect data as a research tool, and it was applied to a sample of (216) faculty members in colleges of education.
In the Arab Republic of Egypt, distributed according to the variables: (gender, academic degree, and specialization). The results indicated that the agreement of the research sample members on the educational requirements: (personal, technical, and professional) to develop the performance of teachers of Sharia sciences in the digital age from the perspective of Islamic education was high. In general, on all axes, the results also indicated that the approval of the research sample members on the proposed mechanisms to activate the requirements for developing the performance of teachers of Islamic sciences in the digital age from the perspective of Islamic education was high. In addition to the above, the results concluded that there are no statistically significant differences in the responses Sample members are attributable to the gender variable, while there are statistically significant differences in their responses attributable to the academic degree variable in favor of professors compared to assistant professors and teachers. There are also statistically significant differences in their responses attributable to the specialization variable in favor of those specializing in Islamic education. The research also presented a number of recommendations and proposals.
