المستخلص

التخطيط الاستراتيجي أصبح ضرورة للوفاء بمتطلبات العملية الإدارية السليمة في إدارة مؤسسات التعليم وخاصة التعليم العالي فلابد من التعرف على مفهوم التخطيط وأهميته ومزاياه ومتطلباته والعوامل التي تساعد على نجاحه والتحديات التي تواجهه ومن ثم معرفة الخطة الاستراتيجية وکيفية رسمها وتحديد أهدافها والتعرف على جوانب القوة والضعف في الخطة الاستراتيجية التي تسير عليها الجامعة (جامعة الکويت نموذجاً) ومدى ما حققته من نجاح للوصول إلى تحقيق رؤيتها ورسالتها من خلال رسمها لخطة استراتيجية) وفقاً للأهداف الاستراتيجية.
