المستخلص

 استهدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف على المعايير التي تلجأ إليها طالبات الجامعة في الاختيار الزواجي، والکشف عن أسلوب الاختيار الزواجي لدى طالبات الجامعة، وأيضًا الکشف عن التغيرات الحديثة التي أثّرت على توجهات المرأة في عملية الاختيار، وللوصول إلى هذه الأهداف اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وعلى الاستبانة أداةً لجمع المعلومات، وقد طبقت هذه الدراسة على عدد من طالبات قسم علم الاجتماع والخدمة الاجتماعية في جامعة الملک عبدالعزيز بمحافظة جُـدَّة، والذين بلغ عددهن (300) طالبة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج کان أهمها أنَّ أبرز المعايير التي کانت تعتمدها الطالبات في عملية الاختيار الزواجي معيار الالتزام السلوکي في الحياة الأسرية، يليه معيار العاطفة والشعور بالحب، ثم المعيار الديني، وأن أساليب الاختيار الزواجي تتمثل في الأسلوب الفردي، والأسلوب الذي يجمع بين الأسلوب الوالدي والفردي، وأن من أهم التغيرات التي أثرت في عملية الاختيار الزواجي هي انفتاح الفرص التعليمية للمرأة في التخصصات کافة، الترويج للمفاهيم الخاطئة عن الزواج من قبل مشاهير التواصل الاجتماعي، تمکين المرأة من العمل في جميع القطاعات المختلفة. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء أفراد العينة حول المعايير التي تلجأ إليها طالبات الجامعة في الاختيار الزواجي وفقًا لمتغير السنة الدراسية، وهذه الفروق لصالح فئة (السنة الثانية) بالمتوسط الحسابي الأعلى، کما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء أفراد العينة حول المعايير التي تلجأ إليها طالبات الجامعة في الاختيار الزواجي وفقًا لمتغير الحالة الاجتماعية، وهذه الفروق لصالح فئة (أخرى: مطلقة/أرملة) بالمتوسط الحسابي الأعلى، لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء أفراد العينة حول المعايير التي تلجأ إليها طالبات الجامعة في الاختيار الزواجي وفقًا للمتغيرات (العمر – التخصص – المهنة)، لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين آراء أفراد العينة حول أساليب الاختيار الزواجي لدى الطالبات للمتغيرات الديموغرافية.
This study aimed to identify the criteria used by university students in marital selection and to reveal the method of marital selection among university students and also to reveal recent changes that have affected women's attitudes in the selection process. For fulfilling such purpose, the study relied on the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire As a tool for gathering information, this study was applied to a number of students from the Department of Sociology and Social Work at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah Governorate totaling (300) students. The study revealed that the most prominent criteria are applied to students in the process of marital selection, the criterion of behavioral commitment in family life, followed by the criterion of emotion and the feeling of love, then the religious standard. The methods of marital selection are represented in the individual style and the method that combines the parenting and individual style. However, material selection is opening up educational opportunities for women in all disciplines, promoting misconceptions about marriage by social media celebrities, empowering women to work in all different sectors. There are statistically significant differences between the opinions of the sample members on the criteria used by university students in marital selection according to the variable of the school year, and these differences are in favor of the category (second year).
